Open Role: Director of Sponsorships

Role Type: Independent Contractor | Commission-Based

Location: Remote (U.S. preferred, open to qualified candidates)

League Focus: Sponsor may choose SvS, BvB, or SvS + BvB (Dual League) partnerships

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, pitch, negotiate, and secure monetary sponsorships

  • Sell tiered sponsorship packages (Bronze → Platinum)

  • Build and manage a sponsorship acquisition team

  • Maintain professionalism and protect the MPS brand in all partner conversations

  • Track deals and pipeline activity through our internal system

Compensation (Commission)

  • 20% commission on every monetary sponsorship you personally secure

  • 5% override commission on monetary sponsorships secured by your team members

  • Team members earn 15% commission on deals they personally secure

  • Commissions are paid after sponsorship funds are received and confirmed

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong communicator and relationship builder

  • Comfortable with outreach, negotiation, and follow-up

  • Sales, sponsorship, brand partnerships, sports, or music industry experience is a plus

  • Self-starter mindset with a long-term vision

What to Expect After You Apply

  • We review applications (rolling basis)

  • Selected candidates complete a short screening call

  • Final candidates receive onboarding details and role agreement

  • You begin building your pipeline and closing sponsorships
