Song vs Song Sports League (SvS) is the flagship league of MPS where fans discover new songs through exciting head-to-head games using Spotify and Apple Music. Independent artists compete like athletes, with each matchup featuring two songs that are streamed on Spotify or Apple Music and scored by both fans and judges. Instead of simply browsing playlists, audiences experience music as a sport; listening, voting, following standings, and cheering for their favorite artists as they compete for rankings and championships. In SvS, music discovery happens through the excitement of competition, turning every game into an opportunity to discover your next favorite song.

SvS DIVISIONS
The Song vs Song Sports League (SvS) allows independent artists to compete at both the franchise and national levels. Artists in the DMV region can enter the SvS-Seven Cities Series, Hampton Roads' official franchise, while artists nationwide can compete in the SvS-US Circuit, featuring Human and AI Divisions. All competitions are played under the MPS Dual Scoring System, with players earning Ranking Points (RPs), building their fan base, and increasing exposure through a season of online games culminating in championship events.

SONG COMPLIANCE POLICY
Players are expected to compete with songs that are ready for commercial release. So, songs are expected to be radio-edited, professionally mixed, and mastered. No exceptions.
