MPS-Athletes are a new generation of independent artists competing within the Music-Performance Sports ecosystem. Through the Song vs. Song Sports League (SvS), they build their careers by participating in sanctioned online and live games for national rankings and championships.

 

Much like traditional athletes, MPS-Athletes grow their fan bases, visibility, and market value by competing. This competitive platform opens the door to a wide range of business opportunities, including sponsorships, endorsements, media exposure, label deals, touring, merchandising, brand partnerships, and sustainable long-term careers.

Membership Fee

$35 ANNUALLY MEMBERSHIP

The initial membership fee is due only upon acceptance into the program. Approved applicants will receive an acceptance email containing a secure payment link to submit the fee.

  • MPS University – Quarterly educational and entrepreneurial webinars designed to help you develop as both an artist and a business professional.

  • Exclusive Access to member-only promotions, events, and career advancement opportunities.

  • Early Access to new Music-Performance Sports programs, leagues, and initiatives.

  • MPS Marketplace (Coming Soon) – A dedicated marketplace to buy, sell, and promote music, merchandise, and professional services within the MPS ecosystem.

COMPETITIVE PROFILES (BETA)

Each MPS-Athlete will have a dedicated Competitive Profile, an enhanced digital profile that goes beyond the traditional EPK. In addition to showcasing the artist’s music and brand, the profile will feature current and historical game and season results, competitive records, achievements, rankings, social media handles, and other relevant career information.

The Competitive Profile will also serve as a recruiting and professional development tool, giving our network of music and entertainment industry professionals a centralized way to discover and evaluate MPS-Athletes. Through these profiles, industry professionals can identify players for potential business opportunities, including collaborations, performances, sponsorships, endorsements, management, distribution, and other career-building opportunities.

Eligibility Requirements

The MPS-Athlete Membership is exclusively open to:

  • Independent artists and AI artists 

  • Must be unsigned

  • All genres

  • Ages 18 and up

  • Must be a U.S. citizen

Important Membership Information

  • Membership benefits are subject to MPS rules, regulations, and policies.

  • Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • Music-Performance Sports does not guarantee placement, contracts, representation, or business deals through membership exposure opportunities. Opportunities are based on independent interest from third parties within the MPS network.

  • Members must own or control the rights necessary to submit and compete with their music and content.

  • Membership may be suspended or revoked for fraud, misconduct, copyright violations, or violations of league rules.
