Newport News, VA. — The 2025 season of SONG vs SONG (SvS): Solo Division, the world’s first music-performance sports league, kicks off June 28th with 11 independent artists competing for the coveted SvS SUPER MIC Championship on September 6th.
Founded on a revolutionary blend of music and competitive sports, SvS transforms song competition into a pro-level sport inspired by the structural DNA of the NFL and NBA. Players are drafted to compete across a 2-game preseason and a 7-week regular season, culminating in an intense postseason battle among the top 8 ranked players.
This year’s Solo Division roster showcases a diverse lineup of players, each representing their hometown with pride and passion:

Each game will be contested online, where the songs go head-to-head, powered by Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, featuring a hybrid scoring system that combines fan voting with professional judge scoring across three key categories.
