Music-Performance Sports League Launches Weekly Recap Show: “SvS: On The Clock” Presented by The Hype Magazine – Premiering July 13th

Newport News, VA — The Music-Performance Sports League (MPSL) is proud to announce the premiere of its official weekly recap and results show, “SvS: On The Clock,” presented by The Hype Magazine, airing Sunday, July 13 at 8:00 PM EST. The show launches alongside Week 1 of the SvS Regular Season, marking a new era in music-competition broadcasting.

Broadcast across YouTube and the Music-Sports Network, “SvS: On The Clock” is the first and only results show dedicated to recapping matchups from the Song vs Song (SvS) league — SvS is the flagship league of a new era and genre of music competition called Music-Performance Sports (MPS).

🎯 Show Synopsis:

Hosted by Terrence Bennett, aka Tee Recx, Head of Officials for the league, “SvS: On The Clock” provides an in-depth breakdown of each weekly matchup with expert commentary, judge feedback, and real-time results.

Each week, three expert judges score game matches in one specific category:

• Delivery

• Song Quality

• Radio Readiness

Judges are Brittany Jay (Atlanta), Murda (Atlanta), and Mr. Conversation (Cleveland)

Judges are given 5 minutes per match to critique and score each player's song, followed by the reveal of fan voting results. Final scores are calculated by combining:

• Fan Vote Points (up to 10) – Based on percentage of total votes

• Judge Scores (up to 30) – Each judge rates their category on a scale of 1 to 10

Total Score = Fan Vote + Judge Scores = 40 Points Max

Week 1 of the SvS: Solo Division regular season kicks off with an 11-player roster of independent artists from across the U.S. and abroad competing in a structured pro sports league format. Winners are determined each week on “On The Clock”, bringing the drama and celebration of sport into the world of music competition.
