Music-Performance Sports Introduces the Next Generation of Independent Music.

Newport News, VA — The Music-Performance Sports League (MPSL) has officially released its first-quarter Power Rankings for the inaugural 2025 Song vs Song (SvS) Solo Division Regular Season — marking a pivotal milestone in what is being hailed as the birth of a new genre of music competition: Music-Performance Sports.

The SvS Power Rankings are determined through a revolutionary system that combines:

• Performance Points (PPs) – Judges’ scores in three professional categories: Delivery, Song Quality, and Radio Readiness.

• Poll Points (PoPs) – Fan voting power translated into league points.

• Players are ranked in 3 categories: PPs, Votes, and Power Rankings

Together, they create a transparent, competitive, and scalable ranking system that aims to redefine A&R in the independent music world.

Currently ranked #1 in all 3 rankings.
