The 2025 SvS (Song vs Song) Solo Division preseason officially kicked off with Game 1, featuring a series of tightly contested online matchups where SvS players went head-to-head. These 2 preseason games allow the players to warm up to the new SvS format, where songs are judged by fans and panelists on Delivery, Song Quality, and Radio Readiness.

Here are the results from the first slate of preseason matchups:

• Ask Andy (Sussex, NJ) edged out Mr. $hine (Prattville, AL) in a high-energy duel, finishing with a final score of 20 – 16.5.

• Ryan Mackin (Hope Valley, RI) leaned on strong lyrical content to defeat Ladyofsoull (Winston-Salem, NC) by a score of 15.5 – 11.

• TCB Domino (LaGrange, GA) dominated the matchup, scoring 29.9 to overcome Michael Marshall (Chicago, IL), who posted 16.4.

• In one of the closest battles of the week, 4160 Volts (Hendersonville, TN) claimed victory over Best Slim Ever (Oshodi, Lagos State, Nigeria) in a back-and-forth thriller, 32 – 29.5.

• Rounding out the card, P The Emcee (Dayton, OH) outpaced Keldamuzik (San Francisco, CA) in a strategic matchup, finishing 21.5 – 19.5.
