The Music-Performance Sports League (MPSL) has officially concluded Week 3 of the Song vs Song (SvS) regular season following four days of public scoring and the addition of the judges’ Performance Points (PPs) on SvS: ON THE CLOCK.
Week 3 will be remembered as one of the most competitive and dramatic stretches of the season, culminating in a historic judging performance that reshaped the competitive narrative heading into Week 4.
Week 3 Recap (Days 1–4 Public Scoring)
Day 1 opened with Jomar Rayson setting the early pace through strong public engagement. By Day 2, the leaderboard tightened significantly as Jeannie Karaya surged upward and Nichelle Royale gained traction.
Day 3 marked a decisive shift when Nichelle Royale’s “Dark Side” posted the strongest public scoring performance of the week, creating separation atop the APRS (Average Public Rating Score) standings. Day 4 confirmed the volatility of the week, as several mid-tier competitors remained separated by fractions of a point heading into judges’ evaluation.
As is the design of the SvS competitive model, the addition of Grand Judges’ Performance Points (PPs) ultimately finalized placements — reinforcing the league’s hybrid system of fan engagement and professional scoring across delivery, song quality, and radio readiness.
Player of the Week — D’Ariq (East Point, GA)

Currently ranked #4 in the league, D’Ariq (East Point, GA) has been named Week 3 Player of the Week after delivering a historic judges' performance with his song “Mamacita.”
Each Grand Judge awarded the track a perfect 10, resulting in a flawless judges' panel score.
This marks:
The first perfect judges' score of the regular season
The second perfect score overall this season
Earlier in the season, God$on achieved a perfect scoring performance during the Red vs Blue Game. D’Ariq now joins that elite company, reinforcing his position as one of the league’s most technically polished players.
The performance significantly strengthened D’Ariq’s overall Power Ranking heading into Week 4.

SvS Power Rankings — Updated as of 02/23
Jomar Rayson, Houston, TX — 122.97
God$on, Peru, Nebraska — 120.1
Nichelle Royale, Orange, NJ — 118.8

D’Ariq’s perfect-score performance moves him into strong contention entering the next phase of the season.
Looking Ahead to Week 4
With three weeks completed, the league now enters a critical mid-season stretch. The margin between positions two through seven remains competitive, and future Player of the Week performances could dramatically impact playoff positioning.
