WHAT IS eMICS?
eMICS is an online song-vs-song series where independent artists compete as players in games called “Heats.” The season consists of 4 Heats, each featuring up to 10 players. During each Heat, songs are displayed and streamed using Spotify and Apple Music over a 4-day scoring window (Wed-Sat), where fans rate the songs from 1-10 to determine the APRS (Average Public Rating Score). The player with the highest APRS wins the Heat and automatically locks in a spot in the July Championship. The objective is simple: win any one of the four Heats to secure a championship berth.
ENTRY FEE: $25 per Heat
(Heat winners are locked in for the championship and are not required to play in the remaining Heats.)

HOW DOES IT WORK?
4-HEATS (4-weekly online games)

Players must use songs that are published on Spotify or Apple Music.

Each Heat's scoring window is from Wednesday (12 AM) to Saturday (11:59 PM).

Heat results announced on Sunday.

Songs are displayed on the eMICS game page for the public to LISTEN and SCORE on a scale from 1–10, creating the APRS (Average Public Rating Score).

The player whose song earns the highest APRS at the end of the Heat is declared the winner and locks in their slot in the championship in July.

Each Heat is heavily promoted online by the league, while players are encouraged to promote to their own social media communities to maximize exposure, fan interaction, and voting participation.
